| In 2002, Indians GM Mark Shapiro made the decision to start looking
towards the future of the Indians ball club. He rid us of many of our
big name stars to look forward to the 2006-2006 season. Well, the
2005-2006 season is upon us. And to my surprise the Indians look as
though the restructing of the ball club may have done some good. I
don't expect to see any serious postseason contention. But I do see the
Indians possibly fight for a wildcard spot, and putting last seasons
horrid record behind them. Shapiro, your ass is mad on the line this
season. Show me whats really good.

| Four years have passed now and on that day it still burns just the same.
....Still without sight.... |

| The Cavs have been in dire need of solid point guards. And what's even better? I can pronounce their names without having to hear a commentator make a sad attempt first. Not being relevant or anything.... The potential for amazing chemistry in Miami almost makes my d*ck hard. Can I say that? I don't know if I can say that. Can I..... Its amazing what Shaq can do in addition to a team that has leadership, but no on-court leadership. Eddie Jones has talent out the ass is a very underrated player. Seeing him and Shaq in just gets more and more exciting every game. Good move for O'Neal. The wont win any championships this year, but they sure as hell will give some runs for the money. Kobe is a head case. It he wasnt so talented, the Lakers' would have scrapped him long ago. Thats not news. What is news is that the Lakers wont make it far into the playoffs, if at all, not only b/c Kobe cant lead a team there, but b/c the Lakers picked up a lot of seemingly useless talent. Lamar Odom? Sure, you won a bronze medal guy, but considering whos shoes you have to fill, even if they were laced up your foot would still slip out....constantly. Get me there Trisktett? Shoes, and filling shooes, and the shoes being to big to fill, and they fall of and.....forget it. And Ben Wallace's afro this season wont even come close to its superiority last season. But we love to see it nonetheless. So who is going to step up and take that championship? There surely wont be the Lakers and Pistons throwing down this season. But why does the world not seem comfortable in saying Detroit will return to championship lane? Blame it all on Larry Brown. |
